Pacific Blue successfully provided another turn-key safety upgrade and legacy controls migration!

Pacific Blue Engineering successfully provided another turn-key safety upgrade and legacy controls migration solution on an existing wrapper. Pacific Blue designed, installed, commissioned and validated the turn-key upgrade. A Rockwell Automation SLC, Panelview Standard, and Powerflex 4 VFDs were migrated to a CompactGuard PLC, utilizing Powerflex 525 with safe torque off, and a PanelView Plus 7. We then integrated a complete safety solution utilizing infeed / outfeed muting light curtains, locking door switches, mechanical hard guarding, request to enter stations, and override functionality. We can modernize your industrial automation equipment to the latest controls platforms while integrating state of the art safety solutions. Nice job PBE team! đź’Ş
